Early Intervention

We provide Early intervention and support for families of young children (1-5) with speech, language, and communication delays. Our mission is to improve children's communication skills and let parents feel confident helping their children.

Communicating effectively is vital for a child's success in life and their psychological well-being in both childhood and adulthood.

Speech - Language Therapy

SLS can help you restore your ability to communicate, as well as help you develop alternative ways of communicating, if necessary.

We provide assessment and clinical intervention for language disorders (aphasia) and motor-speech disorders (dysarthria and verbal apraxia).

Cognitive - Linguistic Therapy

Cognitive-Linguistic therapy is necessary for a patient with communication difficulty secondary to impaired cognition. This therapy helps improve cognitive processes such as attention, memory, organization, problem-solving, and executive skills.

We provide assessment and individualized clinical intervention of cognitive-communication disorders based on a patient's specific needs.

Dysphagia (Swallowing) Therapy

We specialize in assessment and treatment of swallowing disorders (dysphagia). We  are certified in Vital-Stim and The McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program (MDTP).

Evaluation – We will conduct an interview with you/your caregivers, review your medical records, look at different phases of the swallow function, and develop an individualized therapy plan specific to your needs. If needed, we will refer you for an instrumental exam.

Dysphagia Therapy - Treatment usually depends on the cause and type of dysphagia.
