About Speech Language Solutions

Speech Language Solutions is a private Speech-Language Pathology practice,

offering in-home, community-based, and telepractice sessions. Our therapy is client/family-centered, with a holistic approach that addresses an individual’s specific needs and is designed to help with daily functional tasks. 

 

We provide Early Intervention, rehabilitation of speech and language, voice, cognitive-linguistic/executive functions, social-communication, and swallowing disorders resulting from various etiologies for young, older adolescents, and adults.

  

We provide Early Intervention and support for families of young children (1-5) with speech, language, and communication delays. Our mission is to improve children’s communication skills and enable parents to feel confident in helping their children. 

 

Our other specialties include; rehabilitation of speech and language, voice, cognitive-linguistic/executive functions, and swallowing disorders resulting from various etiologies. 

 

We serve the following populations: young children (1-5), younger and older adolescents, and adults.

About the Clinician

Dubravka Spera is the founder and owner of Speech Language Solutions, LLC. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed in Pennsylvania. Her specialty certifications include Lee Silverman Loud (LSVT), Vital-Stim, The McNeill Dysphagia Therapy Program (MDTP), and a Certified Brain Injury Specialist through the American Academy of Brain Injury Specialists. 

 

She is passionate about utilizing holistic methods that integrate mental, emotional, social, and physical aspects of communication. She incorporates cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to enhance therapy outcomes in treating cognitive-linguistic/executive skills.

 

Dubravka is a strong advocate for nurturing heritage languages in children and is interested in bilingual and multilingual language development.

 

 She believes in continual professional development and spends a great deal of time keeping up with the latest research, training, and methods in therapy, so she is providing the highest level of care to her clients. She is the recipient of several ASHA’s ACE awards for continuing education. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors, and exercising.

 

 She provides services in the following languages: English, Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, and Montenegrin.
